About Heather McIntosh
Deeply grounded in Drummond of Drummond/North Elmsley Township and dedicated to serving our community. Learn more about my lifelong connection to our local land, my two decades in healthcare advocacy, and my commitment to keeping our township a flourishing place for every generation.

Over twenty years of care and advocacy
After leaving to study nursing, I have spent more than 20 years dedicated to patient care and advocacy across continents, operating rooms, emergency departments, intensive care units, primary care, women's health services and community nursing in people's homes. My experience has expanded into leadership, education and ensuring health facilities meet rigorous compliance and accreditation standards. Throughout my career, I have prided myself on communicating with kindness, listening closely to diverse voices, and standing up as a steadfast advocate for the most vulnerable members of our community.

Growing in our community for generations
I was born and raised on a farm in Drummond Township. My family has cultivated land in Drummond for over 150 years. I attended Drummond Central School and Perth and District Collegiate Institute, growing up with a profound appreciation for our rural traditions and tight-knit neighbourhood. Today, my greatest joy is returning home to raise my own family in our multi-generational farm home, cherishing the outdoors, supporting local events, and safeguarding what makes our region such an exceptional place to live.

Building a vibrant future together
Whether enjoying our beautiful countryside, participating in town activities, or engaging with neighbours on local matters, I am dedicated to preserving our community's character while planning responsibly for our shared future. I invite you to connect directly—whether you prefer to phone
